I joined Wild Training in June, Prior to this I had tried every tea, shake, porridge, bar and magic potion available on the market for weight loss.
Since I've been with wild training I have been dedicated, punctual and totally hooked. This is amazing as I've never ever been keen on any type of exercise. I'm the one with no balance, no coordination and zero flexibility.
The progressive nature of Wild training is totally suited to me. I used to be very intimidated around the gym equipment but now I'm totally fearless. I may not be the best at it but I will give it my best shot.
Jamie, the coach is very experienced, positive, knowledgable and has a lot of 'smart moves' to get the best out of the client without them realising. Due to Jamie's positive nature I have experimented and experienced most of the gym equipment I spent a lifetime avoiding. I especially struggled with running. I now run at a steady pace, not exactly to Olympic standards but I run. And the funny thing is,I actually enjoy it.
For me the best thing about wild training is working in groups. All the various people I have trained with are friendly, fun people and despite being at different levels of fitness there is no competition. I have made so many friends in the Park. And the weather certainly does not put me off. I'm there in the park in the worst and the best of the weather. Only after realising that that outdoor training is actually outdoor training. Come rain or shine. My first training session was in a massive downpour. Was I going to go back? I did.
To date I have done both group training sessions as well as personal training sessions with Jamie. I love both sessions.
I am not exactly where I want to be right now but I know that I won't be stopping anytime soon. I am constantly being complimented by my family and friends. I am stronger, slimmer and much happier. My balance, co-ordination and flexibility have seen a tremendous improvement. And I am very happy with the slow but steady, visible changes I see daily.
